Classwork and Homework

Alsalamu Alaikum,

Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!

Reading: Students sat on the carpet and I read I am Responsible. They went back to their places and read My Shapes Book in pairs.

Math: Students used shapes to design their own car based on If I Built a Car.

Social Studies: Students finished their projects in groups (My Community) and they presented their projects in front of the class.

Gym: We played People to People. Students practiced kicking and bouncing the ball.

Islamic Studies: Students watched another part of the movie about Prophet Muhammed (SAW).

Homework: Pray Maghrib and Isha.
                     Read a story.

Today I explained to the class that I would be rewarding students for being responsible. We talked about what responsibility is and we read a story about RESPONSIBILITY.

Please remind your child to always be responsible. This week I will be looking at students' behaviour with respect to responsibility and I will be evaluating their performance.

RESPONSIBILITY
§  Fulfils responsibilities and commitments within the learning environment
§  Completes and submits class work, homework, and assignments according to agreed-upon timelines

§  Takes responsibility for and manages own behaviour

Reminder:
  • Yesterday students had their MS Read A Thon assembly in the gym. For more information, please visit the MS Society of Canada
