Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!
Circle Time: Students sat in a big circle on the carpet and shared some of the special things they did in the winter break with the class. We ate crackers too!
Writing: Students wrote sentences in their notebooks about their winter break and they drew pictures.
Library: Students read and checked out books.
Gym: We played Giant Soup. Students practiced bouncing and passing the ball to each other.
Social Studies: Students sat on the carpet and we talked about what a community is. Students talked about their parents' jobs and how they contribute to the community.
Islamic Studies: We talked about steps of prayer. Students learned the importance of being respectful during prayer. They prayed Asr.
Homework: Pray Maghrib and Isha.
