NO HOMEWORK FOR THE WINTER BREAK!

Assalamu-alaikum!

Dearest Parents,

We hope you and your families are well and in good health…

We just wanted to let you know that even though we did not send formal homework with the students to do over the break, we do encourage you to spend valuable time with you son/daughter. 

·         Take the time to do lots of reading with your child.  It would be great to read on a daily basis. 

·         Encourage your child to sound out on his/her own when writing.  May be you can have a winter break diary.

·         Have a discussion with your child about anything that might interest him/her.

·         Give your child a chance to express himself/herself by doing some art.

Assalamu Alaikum

This past Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success, Alhamdulillah!

I would like to offer a big heartfelt thank you to all the parents, students and teachers for their tremendous generosity.

The library made in net sales $3059.04. The total cash commission that stays in the library was for an amount of $917.71.  As a result, we've purchased new library material that will benefit each and every student in their quest for learning.

Again, Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your generosity!

Please send an extra pair of socks with your child.
Please put the pair of socks in a small bag in your daughter's/son's school bag...
Your child will be using the extra pair of socks in case we go out and it is wet and slushy outside!

Just a reminder that my students should have a couple of healthy snacks and a healthy lunch every day!

I have been noticing snacks that are not as healthy as they should be...

We spend many hours at school,

سيتم إن شاء الله في الاسبوع القادم ،  تقويم مستوى الطالب في قراءة  ما تم دراسته ، للتعرف على نقاط القوة  ونعززها ، و على نقاط الضعف و نقومها .

 و لذلك سيكون الثلاثاء القادم الموافق 11 / 12 اختبار قراءة في الحروف و المقاطع و الكلمات ، المرسلة مع الطالب في ورقة الواجب ( مراجعة و تثبيت ) .

نحن انتهينا حتى الان من دراسة جميع الدروس المتعلقة بالحروف الاتية : م – ك – ب – ت – ر –  ل – (الهمزة ء ) و الهاء ...

 وسيتم تقويم الطالب على النقاط التالية :

*معرف أسماء الحروف المذكورة دون تردد .

* اللفظ الصحيح لهذه الحروف مع حركات التشكيل ( الفتحة – الكسرة – الضمة – السكون – التنوين بأنواعه – ومع المدود أيضا ) كما موضح في ورقة الواجب ( مراجعة و تثبيت ) .

*القراءة  الصحيحة للمقاطع ، و الكلمات الموضحة.

Parent-Teacher interviews a great success!
