Classwork and Homework

Alsalamu Alaikum

Alhamdulilah today we had a wonderful day!

Reading: Students sat on the carpet and I read The Curious Garden. Students went back to their places and read stories while some students read to me.

Math: Math book page 124.

Social Studies: Students finished colouring the picture with the symbols. They looked at a picture of a map with different symbols. They understood the concept that maps are made of symbols that provide information. They looked at different symbols and circled the meanings.

Islamic Studies: We talked about some of the Prophet (SAW)'s manners and we read a lovely story about prophet Mohammed (SAW), Prophet Muhammad for Little Hearts

Homework:

  • Pray Maghrib and Isha.
  • Math book page 124 (Home Connection). Students make a tower on a piece of paper using 3-D shapes  (similar to the tower they made today in class).
  • Read a story.

Reminder: Tomorrow the Quran competition will be from 8:45 to 10:00 in shaa Allah.
If you have stories about Prophet Mohammed (SAW) please share them with us.

I hope you have a wonderful evening in shaa Allah!
