Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!
Reading: Students sat on the carpet and I read If I Built a Car for the third time.
Spelling: Students read the new list words and put them in sentences. They filled in the missing letters to complete the list words in their spelling books.
Math: We sat on the carpet and explored different 3-D shapes. Students completed a worksheet identifying 2-D and 3-D shapes.
Social Studies: Students played (Who am I?) They read job descriptions and matched them to the correct jobs.
Islamic Studies: We sang a nasheed about the Prophet (SAW).
- Draw three 2-D figures and write the number of corners and sides each figure has.
- Homework pack (due on Tuesday)
- Story Response Log (Your child will retell If I Built a Car)
- Read a story a day.
