Classwork and Homework

Alsalamu Alaikum,

Alhamdulilah we had a good day today!

Reading: Sr. Madlien read us "Cookies". Students completed a worksheet about the meaning of words with Sr. Madlien.

Spelling: Students looked at pictures in their spelling books and wrote the list words that have the same beginning and end sounds. They wrote a sentence about their favourite pet.

Writing: Students wrote and drew pictures about bullying.
We watched a video in Tr. Jessica's classroom about  bullying and we talked about what to do when there is someone who is bullying us.

Math: Students showed the class the graphs they made at home.

Science: Students sat in groups and they talked about the different characteristics of living things. Each group took a doll and they said some of the organs we have in the human body.

Homework: Homework pack (due on Tuesday)
                   Read a story.
If your child did not do the graph for the home connection. please make sure he/she does it today.
