Classwork and Homework

Alsalamu Alaikum,

Today we had a lovely day alhamdulilah!

Reading: Students sat in their groups and read in pairs. They read What Do You Wear in the Snow? We talked about the children in Syria and how they need our help.

Writing: We talked about adjectives and nouns. Students gave examples of each. They completed their adjectives worksheet. Students were given a worksheet about nouns and we completed it as a class.

Math: Math book pages 96 and 97.

Science: Students presented their projects and we discussed the projects that were presented today. We enjoyed the presentations very much masha'Allah!

Students who will be presenting tomorrow are: Mariam, Bassil, Dana, Hiba, Hilal and Khalid.

Gym: We played People to People! Students practiced bouncing the ball and passing it to each other.

Homework: Math book pages 96 and 97 (Home Connection)
Winter Break pack (due after winter break in shaa Allah)
                     Read a story.

Reminder:
The deadline to donate for  our brothers and sisters in Syria is tomorrow, December 19. This is the least we can do for our brothers/sisters in Syria. Please send money, blankets or jackets. Talk to your child about how they need our help and the importance of charity.

We will be having a potluck tomorrow in shaa Allah. Don't forget to send a food item with your child to share with his or her friends.

Have a wonderful evening!
