Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!
Spelling: Students wrote their spelling quiz and their bonus was to write one proper noun and one common noun. They filled in the missing letters to complete the list words in their Spelling books.
Writing: Students wrote about the signs of spring and they drew a picture in their writing notebooks.
Library: We went to the library and Tr. Nancy talked to us about the steps of research for our country projects. Students took Read With Me form # 6.
Gym: We played Green light/ Red light (Issir's Game) and we played basketball!
Science: We started our experiment about the importance of sunlight for plants to grow. Each student took a booklet about plants and they drew the two plants we have for our experiment in their booklets. In this experiment we will be watering both plants every day, but one plant will get sunlight and the other one will not.
Islamic Studies: Students sat on the carpet and we talked about some of the qualities the Prophet (SAW) had. They went back to their places and answered questions in their I Love Islam workbooks.
Quran: Memorize Surat Al-Balad ayas 1 to 6.
Homework: Pray
