Quraan Competition First Round Dates

Dear parents and guardians,

Hope this email reaches you in the best state of Eman.

 

For the students who have submitted registration slips for the competition, please be advised that the first round of the competition will start after the Family Day weekend  and will last until the beginning of March, so be prepared for this round according to the following dates:

 (Feb. 17 to Feb.20 )              JK, SK

 (Feb.17. to Feb. 20)              Grades 1.

 (Feb. 23. to Feb. 27)              Grades 2 and 3 .

 (Feb.17. to Feb 20)               Grades 4

 (Feb. 23.to Feb. 27)              Grades 5 & 6 

 (Feb.17. to Feb 20)               Grades 7 & 8 

On a final note, we would really appreciate any donations you can make in support of this competition. Jazakum Allah Khairan, no need to remind you of the enormous ajer in helping such a noble cause.

Those donations will go towards the gifts and trophies we will give for all of our students who participated.

I have to say that even though we had obstacles and difficulties, we are progressing in grade one, walhamdulillah!

·         It is with great pleasure to inform you of our 6^th annual Quran Competition. The first round will be held in February 2015 Inshallah. (The final round will be first week of  April 2015).

·         The Competition is optional and is open to all Abraar students. It will be divided into the following Grade- Surah groups:

JK	Al Fateha, Annass, Al Falaq,and Al Ikhlas. (4Suras)
SK	Al Fateha, Annass, Al Falaq, Al Ikhlas, Al Masad, Annasr, Al Kawther, Al Asr,  Al Feel and Quraish. (10 Suras)
1	Al Asr, Al Feel, Quraish, Al Kaferoon, Al Maoon, Al Homaza, Attakathor, Al Qareah, Al Adiat and Al Qadr. (10 Suras)
2	Al Zalzala, Atteen, Al Qadr, Al Alaq, Ashareh, Adduha, Allail, Ashams, Al Balad and Al Fajr. (10 Suras)
3	Al Gashia, Al Alla, Al Bayyana, Attariq, Al Borooj,AlInshiqaaq , and Al Mutafifeen . (7Suras)
4	Al Mutafifeen, Al Infitar, Atakweer, Abasa, Annaziaat, Annaba Al Mursalat, and Al Insan. (8 Suras)

• Registration: All entries must be registered with your Quran teacher in January. This email is only to inform you with the competition requirements so you can practice during the winter break.
• Judging Criteria: Students will be judged based on memorization, rules of recitation (Tajweed), voice quality, and voice clarity.
• Prizes: First and Second places in each age group will receive valuable prizes Inshallah.
