A message from Teacher Salam


 
اللغة العربية :  15/ ذو الحجة /1433  
                   31/10/2012              
السلام عليكم ... عيد مبارك و عساكم من عواده ... مرسلة اليوم مع الطالب  نتيجة اختبار القراءة ، الرجاء الاطلاع عليها و توقيعها ، ثم  اعادتها غدا ( الخميس ) للمدرسة مع الطالب .
كانت النتيجة  لمعظم التلاميذ جيدة و مرضية و الحمد الله  ، و هذا بالطبع يعود لمجهوداتكم الكريمة معنا في متابعة الطالب ، جزاكم الله خيرا .... و لكن ما زال عدد قليل من التلاميذ يحتاجون من الاهالي الكرام  الى زيادة الجهد في متابعتهم وتدريبهم على القراءة الصحيحة للحروف و المقاطع ، بالاضافة الى ما نقوم به من جهد في المدرسة . 
فمن الضروري و المطلوب من التلاميذ الان، في هذه المرحلة  (مرحلة  التأسيس و التمهيد للقراءة ) معرفة أسماء الحروف ( م – ب – ت – ة – ك ) و لفظهم مع حركات التشكيل الفتحة و الكسرة و الضمة وتنوين الضم ، و ذلك لكي نساعد التلميذ على سهولة، قراءة المفردات والجمل فيما بعد ، و الا سيجد صعوبة كبيرة في القراءة فيما بعد .

Our Hajj Bulletin Board won second place out of 15 bulletin boards in the whole school!
Mashallah! 
The students are sooooooooooooooo proud of their achievement!  They worked hard, learned lots, and had a great time working in their small groups...
Please take the time, if you have not done so already,
to ask your child about how he/she has contributed to the class bulletin board...
 
 
Our friends in grade 1B won 3rd place and first place went to grade 6, mashallah!

Hajj Workshop Tomorrow, inshallah!

We are having our Annual Hajj Workshop
 at Abraar School tomorrow!
Please encourage your child to bring something special to wear during the event...
Ideally the boys should have the two piece white ihram and the girls a jalabiya/abaya and a hijab.
It  is going to be a great fun experience for them, inshallah!

-  have your child write each correct sentence 2 times
-  have your child draw a picture related to each sentence

We will be emailing you the story as an attachement (powerpoint), please use it to help you and your child do the homework...

Mother Volunteers Needed for Swimming Program

We need mother volunteers to help out with our swimming program, starting this Monday, October 22nd, inshallah!
We will be going swimming:
every second Monday at 2:00 pm or 2:05 pm
for 30 minutes...
(check the schedule given)
Please inform me as soon as possible, by sending me an email, if you are available to help out!
We need your assistance in helping the students change into their swimming gear and back into their uniforms,
and help supervising the students while in the pool.
Looking forward to hearing from you...
Your time and commitment are greatly appreciated!!!

A few reminders regarding homework:
 
-  please empty the folder on a weekly basis,
leave only the homework that needs to be corrected...
-  check the corrections made on the homework...
-  use the flashcards to practice daily reading...
-  make the booklets and 
have your child read them on a daily...
 
Please follow the homework instructions in order for your child to benefit from doing his/her work!

الاهالي الكرام .. السلام عليكم
أود الاشارة بخصوص اختبار القراءة المشار اليه في ورقة واجب اليوم ( الاربعاء 17/ 10 ) بأن الطالب سيتم تقويمه على النقاط التالية :
*تمييز الحروف ( م – ك – ب – ت ) من بين الحروف و قراءتها .
* القراءة و اللفظ الصحيح للحروف السابقة مع الفتحة و الكسرة و الضمة و التنوين .
*القراءة و اللفظ الصحيح للحروف السابقة  مع المدود ( الالف – الواو – الياء ) .
*القراءة ة واللفظ الصحيح  للمقاطع الموضحة في ورقة الواجب .
          يتم التدريب على ذلك يوميا في الفصل ،من خلال العديد من الانشطة اللغوية المحببة للطالب ،
الاختبار سيكون ان شاء ، كما هو موضح في ورقة الواجب :

First Fire Drill

We had our first fire drill of the year...
Alhamdulillah, our class did well
and was quick to evacuate the classroom!
We had practiced a couple of times last week,
which made the drill easier for all of us,
walhamdulillah!

the Arabic teacher for the Arabic native speakers has a message for all of you:
 
اللغة العربية :
السلام عليكم ...تم الانتهاء من الدروس الخاصه - بحرف الميم و الكاف و الباء - 
و من المتوقع أن يجيد التلميذ الاتي :
* تمييز هذه الحروف من بين الحروف الاخرى * قراءتها أولا مع الفتحة و الكسرة و الضمة و تنوين الضم * ثم قراءة المقاطع الخاصة بها .... وذلك تمهيدا لقراءة المفردات والجمل بيسر وسهولة فيما بعد .
فالرجاء ضرورة متابعة الطالب في التدريب على القراءة بشكل يومي ، كما يوضح دائما في ورقة الواجبات ،
و جزاكم الله خيرا .

First "Toonie Tuesday" of the year!!!

Tomorrow, inshallah, is going to be our first
"Toonie Tuesday" of the year!
Please encourage your child to participate by NOT wearing his/her uniform and bringing a toonie...
The money collected is given
to the PST (Parent Support Team)
in order to help the school with fundraising!!!
